Emily Cosenza is a journalist, TV Producer and proud Italian woman, looking to share her culture with others around her.
Moving away from news headlines and the glamorous world of live television, Emily's used her creativity and passion for writing in a different way.
Growing up, she always said: "I could write a book about my life". As years went by she noticed a gap in the market, having never seen books that represented her culture. So she decided to do exactly what she said and wrote a book about her life.
'My Nonno' and 'Mio Nonno' are Emily's first children’s picture books that are based on her relationship with her grandfather, Angelo.

The books were written as a surprise for nonno Angelo's 80th birthday.
Emily worked on the project for about a year and waited until the milestone event to present them to him and her nonna Maria.
It was certainly a pleasant surprise to them both.
At first, nonno Angelo didn't realise it was him on paper but he was quick to catch on, laughing as he turned every page.
Then, he couldn't put it down.
